This week the entire music industry descends on Austin, Texas for the SXSW festival. A new addition to the line up this year is K-Pop Night Out, a mini festival-within-the-festival showcasing Korean groups and sponsored by the Korean Creative Content Agency (KOCCA). Mega stars and rock groups from Seoul will hobnob with the latest indie bands and introduce festival goers to this latest music trend that’s blowing up worldwide. We’re especially excited to see the group f(x) is headlining.

We first got hint of Solange Knowles’ cool-girl status when we got word of her enviable blog, but with her campaign modeling for Madewell and new music video, Solange has gone from indie style maven to full-blown trendsetter. Her first song in four years, “Losing You,” might have one of the best-dressed videos we’ve ever seen, bringing viewers into dreamy Cape Town, South Africa. Solange has a sound that makes listeners unwind and a covetable look that is all her own.
Yup. She’s killing it.
