It’s when I get emails like these that I remember it’s all worth it — all the ups and downs and the days like today when I feel so poor and despondent and fearful that I’ll never actually sell a script or a book or get staffed on a show and I need to move back home and then somebody out there likes something I’m doing and they tell me they like it in an email or a tweet or with a comment and that puts a smile on my face and takes away some of the persistent self-doubt and it reminds me that I’ve just got to keep on doing what I’m doing. Perseverance. And Ewoks.
