home alone and other random things

I’m home alone in Maine recovering from Wedding Number One which has left me exhausted with a sore throat, wanting to do nothing but watch Cheers from the beginning on Netflix streaming, but instead I am pushing through, trying to write and work and prepare for a meeting in New York next week before I come back to LA, after Wedding Number Two this weekend.

My family went back to New York and LA this afternoon (including the newlyweds, my brother and his wife HIS WIFE!). It’s really great being home alone here except two summers ago I had a major visit from three ghosts in my room in the middle of the night and even though I’m into ghosts I could do without a visit when I’m home alone. We’ll see. I’m going to take some NyQuil so let’s just assume everything after 11:30pm EST is a hallucination, just to be safe.

I finally caved and put some stickers on my computer. Three butterflies that I got at the Maine Audubon the day before the wedding.

Hey did you know about this Tumblr queue thing? It’s great! It makes it look like I’m always blogging and churning up stuff on a regular basis when I am so totally not. Fooled you guys.
